Vorbereitung im Herkunftsland: Erreichen des A2-Niveaus

Before the professionals come to Germany and receive an au pair visa, they must already have reached language level A2. This is done via our specially developed app, which enables the professionals to learn German while they are being prepared for their departure. The app offers a flexible learning format that can be easily integrated into everyday life and is tailored to the individual learning needs of the professionals.

Praxisnahes Lernen im Alltag:

A central component of the language training is the daily use of the language in the host family and in everyday life. Through constant contact with the German language, whether while shopping, completing everyday tasks or in conversations with the host family, the specialists deepen their language skills in a natural way. This practical approach not only promotes language comprehension, but also intercultural competence.

Berufsorientiertes Training:

In addition to general language development, we place particular emphasis on job-oriented training. The professionals not only learn general communication, but also job-specific expressions and situations that they encounter in their everyday work. This ensures that after completing the au pair program, they are well prepared to enter the profession and can move confidently in their new work environment.

Our learning method:

Our language concept is based on the Birkenbihl method, a natural and brain-friendly learning method that allows you to learn languages without stubborn vocabulary learning and with minimal stress. The method is based on how children acquire their native language and consists of several steps that make language learning intuitive and effective.

Decode:

A foreign language text is translated word for word into the native language. This helps to understand the context and meaning of individual words without having to memorize rigid grammar rules.

Active Listening:

The learner listens to the text in the foreign language and reads the translation at the same time. This trains listening comprehension and a feel for the language.

Passive listening:

The foreign language audio text is played in the background during everyday activities. Through repeated listening in everyday life, the sounds and structures of the language become anchored in the brain, similar to how children learn their native language.

Active application:

Finally, the foreign language is actively used by repeating sentences. This improves pronunciation and language skills without having to rely on frontal teaching.

This approach helps our specialists to learn German quickly and in a practical way and to prepare themselves optimally for everyday working life in Germany.
