In den ersten 6-12 Monaten leben sie in der Gastfamilie und absolvieren intensive Sprachkurse sowie interkulturelles Training. Dies erleichtert die kulturelle Eingewöhnung und stellt sicher, dass sie mit soliden Deutschkenntnissen und einem guten Verständnis der deutschen Kultur in ihre berufliche Zukunft starten können.​​

Nach der Au-Pair-Phase werden die Fachkräfte entsprechend ihrer Qualifikation als Pflegekräfte in Krankenhäusern, Altenheimen oder sozialen Einrichtungen eingesetzt. Durch ihre sprachliche und kulturelle Eingliederung erfolgt der Berufseinstieg reibungslos und effizient. Sie verpflichten sich, mindestens 24 Monate bei ihrem Arbeitgeber zu bleiben, was den Unternehmen Planungssicherheit bietet. Danach können sie entscheiden, ob sie in Deutschland bleiben oder in ihr Heimatland zurückkehren, um ihre internationalen Erfahrungen zu nutzen.

Why do we work primarily with professionals from Latin America and Spain?
Animo primarily recruits specialists from Latin America and Spain, as these regions have highly trained medical staff. Many of these specialists have university degrees, but face high unemployment rates and limited career prospects. Countries such as Brazil and Mexico also have tight health budgets, which leads to few jobs. The German government's programs promote the targeted recruitment of nursing staff from these countries in order to address the shortage of skilled workers in the German health care system.
