screening process:
Our screening process includes thorough background checks, including validation of birth certificates and medical exams. Our quality team conducts video interviews and checks the criminal background of au pairs. We also discuss expectations before the start of the assignment to ensure the best match is guaranteed for each family.
Trainings and courses:
Our au pairs go through a special e-learning program with relevant training courses, including first aid courses and educational introductory courses, to best prepare the au pairs for their role. The training covers topics such as stress management, self-reflection, planning, communication, personal values and setting boundaries.
Compliance with laws and regulations:
In Germany, we monitor compliance with all relevant au pair laws and regulations, prepare necessary contracts, review documents and submit the au pair application. Our expertise in dealing with complex regulations ensures that all legal requirements are met, which benefits both au pairs and host families.
Support throughout the entire stay:
​We support you when the au pair arrives by helping with health insurance, opening a bank account and registering with the municipality. Throughout the au pair's stay, we have regular contact moments to ensure that everyone is happy and potential for improvement is identified.

​Submit an au pair request:
Submit your request and arrange a free initial consultation with us, in which we will record your preferences and clarify any questions you may have. You will then receive up to three suitable profiles for your family. Get to know the suggested au pairs and choose your best match.

Preparation time:
We check the au pair's documents and support the visa process and the organization of the arrival. The au pair is prepared for their job in an online training course. To ensure that you are ready to host your au pair, a virtual house check is carried out.

Arrival of the au pair:
After around 2 months of preparation, the au pair adventure begins. In the first few weeks, you will receive close support from us. We conduct feedback discussions and want to ensure that both you and the au pair are satisfied. We stay in regular contact with you and the au pair throughout the year to offer support.

requirements for au pairs
To ensure that the au pair experience is successful for the host families, au pairs must meet certain requirements:
Au pairs should be between 18 and 26 years old and have a minimum level of A1 in German to facilitate communication in everyday life. They must be unmarried and have no children of their own in order to be able to fully concentrate on their role. A medical certificate from the home country is necessary to ensure suitability for caring for children. The stay should be between 6 and 12 months to enable long-term and stable care. Experience in childcare is an advantage but not essential.
