About Us
Creating opportunities, connecting cultures, combating the shortage of skilled workers
Animo stands for a unique program that offers qualified professionals the opportunity to get to know new cultures and countries - an opportunity that has previously been denied to many due to financial constraints. Our structured program opens the door and creates perspectives that go far beyond professional success .
Our Story
Animo was founded in 2024 with the aim of counteracting the shortage of skilled workers in the health and social sector in Germany. The idea was born from our professional experience in managing these industries and our passion for traveling. On our travels, we learned to appreciate the importance of cultural exchange and met many inspiring people from different cultures. Especially in exchanges with specialists from Latin America, we realized that many well-trained and motivated talents are looking for better working conditions and professional development opportunities. However, the opportunity to gain international experience and get to know new working environments is often lacking.
These encounters led us to the decision to create a platform that would open new doors for these talents and make it easier for them to come to Germany. Since our founding, we have successfully placed numerous skilled workers in Germany and helped them find a new professional home. Our comprehensive program, which offers language courses, cultural integration and support in the recognition of qualifications, creates a bridge between international talents and German employers.
Mission
Our mission is to combat the shortage of skilled workers in Germany by recruiting international talent and supporting them throughout the entire process. From language preparation to successful integration into the job market and society, we help skilled workers to quickly feel at home in their new life in Germany and to be successful in their careers.
Vision
Our vision is to build sustainable bridges between countries, promote international cultural exchange and give professionals in the health and education sectors the recognition they deserve. We want to give these important professional fields more appreciation through our work, while offering qualified professionals a long-term professional and personal perspective in Germany. We see intercultural exchange as an enrichment for all sides and as a key to diversity, cooperation and mutual understanding.
Our values:
Diversity and Inclusion:
Animo stands for cultural diversity and exchange between different countries and cultures. We believe that diversity is the basis for success and innovation and are committed to an inclusive working world.
Support and Accompaniment:
Our goal is not only to accompany skilled workers on their professional path, but also to help them feel at home in Germany and find a new home. We are at their side from day one.
Sustainability and Responsibility:
We only recruit in countries that train enough medical personnel and work closely with partners to ensure that our specialists are well integrated in Germany and successful in the long term.
Why Latin America?
The Latin American region has a large number of highly trained professionals, most of whom have university degrees and are willing to use their skills and knowledge in international contexts. However, many of these professionals face high unemployment rates and limited career prospects. The German government has also launched programs to specifically recruit nurses from these countries and combat the shortage of skilled workers in the German health care system. In countries such as Brazil and Mexico, health budgets are tight, which leads to few available jobs, and there is no demographic problem, which is why skilled workers are available.
Our Team
Our team consists of dedicated experts with international experience who understand the needs of our specialists precisely. We support them with intercultural competence and personal commitment from preparation in their home country to successful integration in Germany.
“We know how difficult it is to find skilled and motivated staff.”
